Strasbourg mon amour

Glamorous, poetic, cultural or offbeat – why choose when you can have it all? In Strasbourg, for the 8th year running, love comes in all styles at the Strasbourg Mon Amour festival.

Once again this year, the City of Strasbourg has organized a ten-day celebration of love, from February 7th to 16th, with a rich, varied program that combines culture, heritage and tourism. Strasbourg Mon Amour brings this romantic European capital to life around the theme of love.

Around one hundred events will take place over the 10 days of the Festival. Concerts, exhibits, guided tours, dances, projections, shows, cruises... A Valentine’s Day like no other awaits lovers of culture, heritage, fine dining, art, music and more, both young and old, in Strasbourg this year.

“Strasbourg mon amour” is also based around an emblematic venue: the Café des Amours, set up at Place Kléber under the tent of the Magic Mirror. Opening at 10 a.m. every day of the Festival, the Café des Amours will host an eclectic selection of events such as the following:

  • Love is in the Air on February 6th for the inaugural evening
  • Saturday Night Fever on February 8th
  • Baby Boom on February 9th
  • A Salsa Evening on February 10th
  • RFM Music Live on February 11th
  • Slow Party on February 14th
  • Party “La Croisière S’Amuse” by Batorama

La croisière s’amuse by Batorama

For this celebration of love, Batorama has teamed up with the City of Strasbourg, the Eurometropole of Strasbourg, the Grand-Est Region and many other partners, and will be docking at the Café des Amours on Thursday, February 13th.

Starting at 8 p.m., “La Croisière S’Amuse” promises to be an offbeat, festive event in the tradition of the Captain’s Ball.

Admission is free and Batorama will offer a complimentary "captain’s drink" to each attendee, whether a crew member or a passenger, who respects the event’s dress code.

Enjoy the powerful vocals of the crooner Pascal Vecca, who will take you on a singing tour worthy of the most prestigious cruises, from Sinatra to Tom Jones. Next, whether you prefer rock, disco, swing, boogie-woogie or salsa, Vladimir Spoutnik’s infectious rhythms are sure to entice you onto the dancefloor.

Between dances, spin the love buoy and try your luck at winning a private party for you and 40 of your friends on Batorama’s Lounge boat, all expenses paid (see the rules of the game), or one of the many other prizes available.
